We made a New Chambertones trio cd ‘The Ninth Planet’. We think it turned out very nice!
On April 9th at 16.00 we’ll play in Utrecht at Leeuwenberg. The new cd will be available here for the first time. After a successful tour in Japan we’re well prepared. Come and celebrate our new cd with us!
I’ll be the 3rd guest with the ensemble T.H.E.O. on november 7 in Theater aan het Spui in Den Haag. We’ll play some of my music arranged for the occasion by Michal Vanoucek and other compositions by Michal. Very exciting! Come to hear this unique concert, new music performed one-time-only!
Northsea Jazz Festival

The Northsea Jazz Festival tries to lure people to the festival instead of staying home and watch the worldcup final Holland-Spain, so they booked van Ruller/Roelofs/van der Feen for a show on sunday july 11, from 20.00 till 21.10 at the Madeira hall. Forget soccer, we’ll win anyway, and come to our gig! Tickets are cheap on Marktplaats.nl. Also our new cd will be available at the Jazzwinkel shop at the mainsquare of the festival. This is a one time opportunity, for sale during the festival only, the official release is planned for november 2010.

Last september I recorded some music with 2 great musicians; clarinet and saxophone player Joris Roelofs en bassist Clemens van der Feen. We recorded in “De Toonzaal” in Den Bosch, a very nice sounding concerthall. The result is a new cd “Chambertones” with original compositions and some interpretations of classics. Out in Japan since april 2010 and waiting for release in the rest of the world, starting with the Netherlands. We’ll tour in Japan in june and we’ll play at the Northsea Jazz Festival on july 11.
